I had a great 2-night stay at Hotel Fleur de Liz in Bohol. The hotel has spacious basement parking, which was very convenient. Everything went smoothly during my stay, and I had a pleasant experience overall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bohol!

> 1/5 - Would not recommend. We checked out after 30 minutes. Our stay started badly at the front desk - staff was very cold and unwelcoming. When we entered our room, the aircon was not working at all. We tried troubleshooting ourselves - plugging/unplugging, turning the remote on and off - nothing worked. We reported it to the front desk, but the way they responded made it feel like we just didn't know how to operate it. A staff came to check and also couldn't fix it. He called maintenance, who also couldn't get it to work. Instead of waiting indefinitely inside that room while they figured it out, WE had to suggest that we be transferred to another room so we could finally rest. The second room was worse. It had a "No Smoking" sign but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We asked housekeeping if they could spray air freshener, but they said they didn't have any. His solution was to mop the floor with Downy fabric conditioner. We decided to leave the room and look for a convenience store outside to give him time to clean. When we came back, he was still not done, so we waited in the lobby. The lobby itself was extremely hot. A lady staff who was cleaning there even asked us if we weren't feeling hot - we were literally sweating. We asked if she could turn on the lobby AC, but she said she wasn't allowed to. What kind of rule is that? When she told us the room was ready, we went back to find the floor still dripping wet. Every step with our slippers left a muddy wet mark. We asked the housekeeping staff if he could use a dry mop. He said they don't have one. We asked if they had old towels to dry the floor - again, no. He had zero initiative to find a solution unless we suggested it. We told him to just knock if he found any dry cloth or towel. Inside the room, we tried to calm down but couldn't relax at all. The smoke smell was still there, the floor was wet, and even the CR floor was not draining - the mopping water was just stagnant. We had enough. You can't relax in a room like that. We decided to check out and look for another hotel where staff are warm and have initiative to make guests comfortable and satisfied - qualities Hotel Fleur de Liz really needs to learn.
