Host was great and accomadating but that is it. Absolutely no maintenance . Toilet floods unless you shut off after each use, mold spots on the roof and walls,4" mattress very uncomfortable and no sleep, no table or chair to sit anything anywhere. There's a kettle with no coffee or sugar, not sure why it's there because there's no where to plug in, just run down with no maintenance and not worth the money.

It's not a bougie place but you'll have all the necessary things you need. The 24hr bakeshop was very convenient. It's a walking distance to the whale shark watching location. The staff there, his name is "Fin", super helpful! He's an expert

The lodge is in a great location—only about a 5-minute drive from the Oslob Whale Shark Watching and Swimming area, which was very convenient. They have 24 hours bakery and coffee shop. The room was spacious, but it looked quite different from the photos posted online. There were visible signs of water leakage on the walls and ceiling, making the room feel poorly maintained. There was also no Wi-Fi signal in the room, and the water pressure in the bathroom was very weak. On the positive side, the bed was decent for the price, and if you're simply looking for a budget place to sleep before your whale shark tour, it may be enough. However, if you're particular about cleanliness, maintenance, or expect the room to match the advertised photos, this lodge may not be the best choice. If you're not too picky and just need an affordable place to stay, it's an okay option.
