Excellent stay

​I recently stayed here and found a lot to like about the property. The location is incredibly convenient, near beach front, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was very pleasant. ​However, the room comfort fell short in one major area: the linens. Both the towels and the bedsheets are well past their prime. The bath towels were quite thin and rough, lacking the plush softness you expect when staying at a hotel. Similarly, the sheets felt scratchy and low-thread-count, which made it difficult to get a truly comfortable night's sleep. ​Dreamwave has so much going for it, but management really needs to invest in improving the quality of their towels and sheets. Over all, we had a good stay and I will still consider staying here.

Our stay at Dreamwave was a mix of positive and disappointing experiences. The room itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, which we really appreciated. However, considering the price we paid, we expected better amenities and service. As a couple, only one small bath towel was provided instead of two. There were also no complimentary tissues or toothbrushes, which are basic amenities that most hotels in this price range usually offer. Upon arrival, there was no receptionist at the front desk. It seemed like only the security guard welcomed us, and our booking wasn't even verified before we were directed to our room. This gave us an unprofessional first impression. Another concern was the common restroom near the lobby, before entering the hallway leading to the guest rooms. Unfortunately, it had an unpleasant odor and did not appear to be well-maintained. Throughout our entire stay, there was little to no staff assistance. We simply came and went from our room without any interaction or support from the hotel staff. The room rate is quite expensive, so I also hope they can consider offering more flexible check-in and check-out times. We checked in at 7:00 PM, yet the standard 12:00 noon check-out still applied, which significantly reduced the amount of time we were able to enjoy our stay. Overall, the hotel itself is good because the rooms are clean and well-maintained. However, the level of service and guest experience needs significant improvement to match the price they charge.
