    ⚠️ Very Disappointing Stay at My Dream Hotel, Butuan This was, unfortunately, one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. Our first problem was communication. The hotel’s reservation/contact number was not answering from around 7:00 PM until 7:00 AM, which made it extremely difficult to confirm whether we would even be able to check in when we arrived around 6:00 AM. For guests arriving early, this is a major inconvenience. Upon arrival, the staff were also not very accommodating or welcoming. But the biggest issue was the lack of water in the rooms. We understand that Butuan has been experiencing water supply problems for several months, but guests should still be informed beforehand and provided with a reasonable solution. At this hotel, there was no water available in the room, and guests had to go to the lobby and fetch gallons of water themselves for basic needs. At first, we thought this might simply be the situation throughout Butuan because of the water shortage. However, during our trip, we stayed at three other hotels—both large and small—and none of them required their guests to go through this ordeal. What makes this even more disappointing is that the water situation has reportedly been ongoing since March, yet there seemed to be no adequate system in place to provide guests with a more acceptable experience. A water shortage may be beyond the hotel’s control, but how a hotel manages the situation and takes care of its guests is absolutely within its control. For the price, there are plenty of other hotels in Butuan that can provide a much better experience. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend My Dream Hotel. There are better options at the same price point. Save yourself the hassle and consider other hotels instead.

    Perfect location, offering easy access to nearby attractions. Staff were friendly also. It's just that during our stay there's a water interruption. But overall, it's a nice hotel to stay.
