    We stayed at this hotel for three nights and overall had a good experience. The manager was exceptionally kind and supportive. When we ran into some unexpected money issues, she went out of her way to help us and even drove us to the nearest ATM. That level of personal support made a real difference for us and we truly appreciated it. The staff in general were very attentive and always willing to help. You could tell they made an effort to ensure guests felt welcome and supported throughout their stay. The location directly by the beach is definitely a plus and makes it easy to enjoy the ocean and the surroundings. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the team.

    This was by far the most disappointing place I’ve stayed in the Philippines. The location: I thought the location would be good because it’s halfway between the town centre and the whale shark and scuba diving operations. But actually, it’s just in the middle of nowhere, and you’re better off either staying in town or by the Boat area The staff were stingy, unhelpful and never available (reception unmanned when needed). For example, I was shocked when they demanded a late checkout fee for a one hour extension when we were the only guests in the hotel (not like they needed the room). It left a bad taste They told us that breakfast would take 10 minutes and 15 minutes later said it will take 15 more minutes. We had to cancel it because of rushing to the whaleshark tour (where breakfast took one minute…). The place is rundown, pool area disappointing and the room is so small I couldn’t open my suitcase There are better options. Avoid
