    We booked for 2 days and stayed for 5. That alone tells you how great are experiences was. The rooms were clean and modern. The pool was the perfect fit temperature. Che , Ash, Maria, Balang……. No , all the staff were fantastic! They are truly family . We surfed each day from their boat. Easy tuk-tuk ride to restaurants and attractions. “Silk” ( their restaurant on site) had the best food so far for my family of four. After 3 weeks of traveling Buddha ranks number one!

    The moment we arrived, we were welcomed with geniune warmth and hospitality. The manager, Chey went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. What sets Buddha Resort apart is the people. Their kindness and heartfelt service made our stay memorable. The rooms were cleaned. The location was beautiful and peaceful just few minutes from cloud9. We truly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Siargao.

    I've travelled to many destinations in the Philippines and Southeast Asian countries with a budget of PHP4-5K per night for accommodation, so I expected better from Buddha Resort. I expected clean water, stable electricity, clean room, a minibar, lots of towels, and a pool, among other things What I got was a barebones room that smelled like moldy wood. The airconditioner and lights turned off and on and off again. When it rained, the ceiling leaked. The water in the bathroom stank like rust so I used drinking water to brush my teeth. This room is worth PHP2K, not PHP4K The only saving grace of the resort is their staff. They are very hospitable. They called technicians to fix the leaking ceiling and electrical problem.
