The first thing that stood out for me at this hotel were the exceptional staff. Nothing was too much for them. They went above and beyond. The room we had was huge with stunning views. The bed was large and very comfortable too. The food was also great. I would highly recommend this hotel

the vehicle entry way into the hotel is quite shocking with dirt and stone path, our vehicle bump our way into the hotel. it was an initial shock to us. The hotel is a classic Nepali style red brick structure. No lift and has a narrow stairways up to our room. Ancient style room door/ corridor, large windows. Our room is really a cozy and relaxing vibe for 3 of us. The staff are very polite and welcoming and can't wait to assist us with our meals and our entire stay. Nagarkot is a nice break from the busy Kathmandu. We spent 2 nights in The Fort Resort just soaking in the serene and doing nothing. There wasn't much of the Himalayan view as it was foggy for the time that we were there. the Hotel ground is well kept, excellent maintenance even though it is 30+ years property. i would definitely book the hotel again if i visit Nagarkot in the future. Thank you to all the hardworking staff in the hotel to make my stay a memorable one.

We were a family group looking to get out of Kathmandu and see the mountains. The first impression at the reception area is that the place is tired and run down but we were pleasantly surprised with our rooms which were clean and comfortable. Ac in rooms was also good. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was average. Mountains views weren't great due to weather but overall we enjoyed our stay.
