    The view of the Kaikoura Mountain Range from our room was just on another level. And with the Pacific right in front of you, as well as the sunrise. It's pretty close to perfect folks! We are so glad we stayed for three nights because being winter, the weather wasn't great. The first morning greeted us with a thick heavy fog. The second, rain. And the third and final morning, the brilliant sunshine you see in the photos. The room is just so amazing. There's a heated mattress, a portable heater and there's even a heater in the loo! Small touches like a chair at the entrance has not gone unnoticed. Easy to slip on your shoes before heading out. A full kitchenette with a stove, oven microwave, pots and pans, cutlery, etc., and a nice sized mini fridge to store your groceries with up to 2 to 3 days amount of food. We had fun making our meals every day! Jessica, the owner was so nice and wonderful to share stories with. We miss Blue Seas Motel Kaikoura already and it's only been a week or so. Sigh... Looks like we're coming BACK!

    The accommodation was fine, everything we needed in there, but there was no PowerPoint in the bathroom (only a shaver one that didn't work) and the bathroom also had no ventilation so stayed wet and damp for hours after using the shower even with a window opened and there was mould on the ceiling. It took ages to heat the rooms even with the heater going for long periods of time.
