Brilliant time here at Aloha Seaview resort, it's spa is relaxing and the rooms are spacious and comfy, would definitely recommend.

I needed somewhere to stay for a night in the Bay of Islands, this place suited my requirements.

I contacted the motel through the Agoda a week before pur because there was an imminent tropical cyclone an I asked for a change of dates. I never received a reply. After a couple of days I rang them directly and was told that I had to through Agoda. Agoda told me I couldn't change my dates I could only request a free cancelation which I did. The motel denied the request. I sent them message using Agoda to question why they denied the cancelation. They never replied so I emailed them via the email account given on their website. I received no reply. I got a reply to the Agoda messages on the day we were expected to stay at the motel telling me they do not monitor the Agoda messages so not to use that service and made no mention that I already emailed using their preferred email. An absolute shambles and significantly more stressful than it needed to be.

The resort is a very good place to stay. I had originally planned to book 2 nights in 1 room, but I accidentally selected 2 different rooms for each night. Luckily, after calling them, they kindly arranged a big family room for us for both nights, which I really appreciated. The owner is very nice and professional, which made our experience even better. The cooking area is also very spacious and convenient, especially for families. It’s a great place for families — very neat, quiet, and in a good location. We really enjoyed our stay overall. However, the rooms are a bit worn out, especially the curtains and beds, which could use an upgrade. Also, during winter, it would be more comfortable with better blankets and a proper heat pump. Overall, it was a good, money-worth stay and we loved the location. Would love to see them again. Vinaka
