    Location is great, loved being able to walk into town, or Riccarton mall, or just through Hayley Park. Lots of food places around also. An older motel, not spotless and not perfect, but it was fine for us as price and the room layout was more important. Also, the man at reception was very friendly :-)

    Great location within easy walking distance of town. Lots of places to eat nearby. Room was pretty spacious, with a separate main bedroom. Relatively clean and fine for a motor lodge.

    Great bathroom, but shower leaked 24/7. Good comfy bed. Fridge was not cold, was warm, sometimes hot. Husband pulled it out quite a bit from inside cavity so it cooled down a bit. The sofa eas very old, saggy and no good to sit on. One day our towels were not changed so had to go and ask for fresh ones.We didnt mention the problems until we were checking out because the man didnt seem to be interested in anything. It was the only one we could find wirh a vacancy for our dates on the way to Chch. Would not recommend at all, was cheap but nothing else to get us back there
