    Note to everyone: there is no 24-hour reception here. If you arrive late at night, you may end up locked out because the reception is closed. If you try to check out early, you can’t—because, surprise, the reception is still closed. They only allow check-out starting at 8:00 AM, and even then, it may not actually be at 8:00 AM. You’re basically at the mercy of the owner or staff’s mood that morning. If your flight is early in the morning, I strongly recommend not staying here, or at least check out a day earlier and find another hotel for the night. The location is great, and food and drinks are easy to find nearby. Unfortunately, this one hotel is enough to ruin the entire experience. There is also a RM50 deposit, which is probably normal these days, but I was charged RM65. During check-out, they only returned RM50. I didn’t argue because I knew it would likely turn into a confrontation. And about the staff— they look at you as if you’re begging to stay there and didn’t pay for the room at all. Take that however you want.
