    Recommended hotel if you opt to overnight at Pekan Semporna with strategic location and walkable to jetties, eateries, convenient shop etc. Parking, first come first serve

    The town is really quite run down, you don't feel safe especially at night and there isn't anything to do. The hotel is average at best and that's probably one of the better offerings in the vicinity. Your trip to Semporna is likely just to sleep and eat overpriced local fare. The saving grace of this hotel is that the room does come with complimentary breakfast from 3-4 shops nearby. That said, not recommended to go to Semporna unless you enjoy getting harassed by the locals trying to sell illegally caught seafood or if you enjoy constantly getting caught in the crosshairs of mainland Chinese tourist shouting and haggling around.
