    Room was small but comfortable. Good clean bathroom. Location on Gaya St is ideal for tourists. Good value.

    I checked in before 10:30 PM after booking my room through the Agoda app. Upon arrival, I was given the room I had booked. However, I was informed that the air conditioning had a minor issue and that it would be fine as long as I did not turn it off or remove the access card. I immediately requested another room with the same specifications, but unfortunately, I was told that no other rooms of the same type were available. After a long and tiring day, the last thing I expected was to experience such an inconvenience. At around 3:00 AM, the air conditioning suddenly stopped working. We waited until 4:00 AM, hoping it would turn back on, but it remained off. I chat through whatsApp why we us the bad room. I mad. We then called the receptionist for assistance, only to receive a very rude response: “You chose this room.” This response was completely unprofessional and unhelpful. Instead of apologising and offering a proper solution, the receptionist seemed to blame us for the situation. Only later was another room offered. The management of this hotel is extremely disappointing. Why was the room made available for booking on Agoda if the management already knew that the air conditioning was faulty? Guests pay for a comfortable stay, not to deal with problems that should have been resolved before the room was offered for booking. Out of frustration, I decided to pack my belongings and check out. When I informed the receptionist through call her response was simply, “Oh, ok’. When I arrived at the reception, she suggested ‘Oh, ada cara ba tu kalau aircon tertutup, kasi goyang-goyang tu…” (suggesting that I should shake or adjust something if the air conditioning turned off). Honestly, what kind of solution is that? Guests should not be expected to figure out how to fix faulty equipment themselves. A proper apology, professional communication, and an appropriate solution should have been the bare minimum. Overall, this was a nightmare stay and one of the most disappointing accommodation experiences I have ever had. The poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and failure to ensure that the room was in proper working condition made the entire experience unacceptable. I would strongly advise the management to improve its room maintenance and staff training to prevent other guests from experiencing the same disappointment. They only inform my return will be proceed right after few days I asked them the return, instead of inform me again day later they apologise through whatsApp. I would never recommend this hotel. PLEASE BOYCOTT!!

    The location is perfect. Walking distance to Suria Sabah Mall, restaurants, pharmacy and convenient stores. The downside is it is a bit noisy at night with cars and motorbikes passing by, as the location is close to the mainroad. The room is clean with water heater, toothbrush, soap, shampoo.
