    Discovered that they have upgraded room facilities including better hot water heaters, breakfast at restaurant and menus at restaurant. Very happy to see these good changes because I only stay here whenever I go back to kundasang

    Continued from 1st different room booking to nepenthes suite. Balcony birdwatching is a big plus. As birds 🐦 use bushes in front of balcony as bird highway.

    General is ok. Superb location to view Mt. Kinabalu and surrounding is great! But few comments - 1. A colony of ants detected at kitchen area, room and bathroom. Where I need to take effort to kills and swab them away almost every day of my stay. 2. Little animal visited the lodge one of the night - mouse. Lucky the security came to catch it. 3. Power trip at my last night during the stay. It took few hours to recover but not 100% back to normal and only recover about 2am. The night was cool without heater. And no torch light and candles provide! Not even offering any alternative way to keep us warm inside the lodge. Not a considerate staff/management. 4. I did laundry but during check out, the staff did not have the full record and ask me to provide the laundry form to check. Poor coordination between departments.
