Prices are a bit high but worth it. Very nice facilities. Very nice buffet breakfast. Accommodating staff. Love it and will return.

We had fun staycation here. Check in was smooth, however we encountered 1 issue, our given room was occupied. Ms Tracy straightaway rectified the issue. Bellman (Mahmoud) was helpful. Breakfast was tasty, but may improve on the varities. Pool was great, only downside is the cleanliness at kid's pool and slides. Need better improvements. overall was good

My 3 days 2 nights stay at Marriott Hotel Putrajaya (Room ***) was nothing short of a complete disappointment and a serious letdown from what claims to be a 5‑star hotel. At first glance, the room appeared clean and basic amenities were provided. After a long and exhausting day prior to check-in, we expected to finally enjoy the comfort and quality Marriott is known for. The first night was uneventful, we used the pool and rested, without any issues. However, everything went downhill on the second night. Travelling with family, including my cousin’s family with two young children, my niece (who has autism) was excited to use the bathtub in my room. To our absolute shock, when we turned on the tap, the water was visibly yellow and clearly contaminated. This is not a minor issue. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious hygiene and safety concerns. I immediately contacted my cousin staying in Room ***, only to find that their water was also equally yellow and dirty. This confirmed that this was not an isolated incident. We had to stop my niece from entering the bathtub out of fear for her health. This caused a severe meltdown that took almost two hours to calm down. This situation could have been completely avoided if the hotel had maintained basic standards or at least communicated honestly. When we reported this to the reception, the explanation given by the engineering team was that the yellow water was due to “light reflection.” This explanation was not only ridiculous, but also extremely insulting to guests intelligence. A 5-star hotel giving such an excuse is absolutely unacceptable. Deputy Manager Mr. **** later stepped in and did try to assist, but the overall handling of the issue was still extremely poor. Initially, we were told that only our two rooms were affected. Based on this, we requested a room change. However, after waiting nearly two hours without any update, we had to chase the hotel ourselves only to then be told the truth that the main water tank was damaged, and the entire hotel’s water supply was affected. This contradiction clearly shows a lack of transparency, poor communication, and an attempt to downplay a serious issue. Guests are paying premium rates and deserve honesty not excuses, and misinformation. Despite this, we were moved to another room after packing everything. Only to face yet another unacceptable issue. The water was still dirty, and to make matters worse, the air-conditioning was not functioning at all. Even when set to 16°C, the room remained warm at 25°C, with no proper cooling. For a hotel at this level, this is simply outrageous. At almost $*** per night, it is shocking that guests are expected to tolerate: Contaminated, yellow water Broken or non-functional air-conditioning Hours of delay with no proactive updates Misleading and unprofessional explanations This is far from a 5-star experience it does not even meet basic hospitality standards. Other aspects were equally disappointing. The advertised live band was missing with no effort to replace it. Breakfast was mediocre and did not reflect the quality expected of a hotel of this standard. Overall, this stay was a complete regret. The hotel failed in maintenance, service, communication, and most importantly, guest safety. Clean water is a basic necessity, not a luxury and failing to provide this is inexcusable. I strongly urge management to take this seriously and conduct a full investigation. As it stands, this experience completely destroys confidence in the Marriott brand at this property.
