First time staying here. The resort we wanted was booked. And location for us this trip was most important. Booked a JR suit believing it would be in better condition that “regular” rooms. Was very hesitant after reading many reviews over the years.
Room is clean. AC works really well. Semi nice view of the bay. Partially obstructed by the dilapidated building in front. Location is why we are here. Inconveniences that property could control : Only one key per room. Even though I booked and payed for two guests. No blanket. Only thin sheet and bed cover. Tv is small and oddly placed. No blackout curtains. No complimentary water in the room as you would expect in an international resort. As all reviews state. It needs to be updated. But probably good it’s not updated too much. As it would price a lot of travelers out.
Not my first choice. But could stay here again if I needed to.

This hotel looks like it’s not been renovated for many decades. The room doesn’t even come with basic amenities like a coffee maker or an iron. Tiles are floor so they are just always sandy. Housekeeping never came so I had to request it. Dirty towels were left outside my balcony door (not mine) for over a week. I was given a free breakfast coupon but then when after I ordered at the restaurant they said I could only get pancakes not waffles (even though it’s the same batter) haha and they made me pay full price. No USB in the room, barely flushing toilets and a shower curtain that didn’t even touch the ground and it fell off the wall one night. It’s a shame. This place could be nice if they put some care into it .
