    One of the better resorts around. The staff was very helpful and friendly with us and the kids. Was a very comfortable stay and the location is close to lots of eateries and to the lion rock. Only feedback would be to have hot water at all times which was not the case on couple of mornings during our stay

    As promised to staff, here’s my honest review. Arrived for checkin for 4 night stay, apparently monkeys had cut the electricity. We were asked to go to another hotel for the night. We were told room would be ready the next day. 1) there is no guarantee of room being repaired by the next day. 2) other hotel wasn’t suitable. I asked for a refund and would make my own arrangements. I thought this was a simple request. Hotel refused, saying they don’t receive my payment for 14 days from Adoga. Why is this my problem? As I paid in full for the room in January. They were checking other guests in, so there were other rooms available. Hotel manager was afraid to talk to me. He asked me to come back after 7pm which I did. He then disappeared, then to my surprise police arrived. Then he appeared. So over my remaining time in the city I continued to try to get my money back. I wasn’t successful. This impacted on the enjoyment of a very nice place. Avoid at all costs. This is my honest review and I hope it helps others
