    The hotel was ideally located on the lake shore as well walking distance from the Polonnaruwa historical site. The top notch staff, especially Suresh and Baddini, arranged a tuk-tuk with a knowledgable driver that made the visit to the ancient exceptional. The room and breakfast was one of the best of our trip. Finally, Suresh was able to book an experienced driver and private car transportation to Haputale at a very reasonable price.

    We booked 5 nights at the Ekho Lake House, lake view deluxe and the attention from the staff from the welcome to the check out was excellent. Priyantha, the manager, was helpful at every turn and his staff reflected the same attitude. Supun in particular went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable and extremely positive experience. Our room had a beautiful verandah with two rocking chairs from which to gaze upon the splendid sunset every evening. The lake breeze and beautifully maintained garden adds to the peace and cool in what otherwise would've been terribly hot afternoons. We'd love to return someday!

    I recently stayed at EKHO Lake House, Polonnaruwa, and it was such a memorable experience. The hotel is located in a truly stunning spot with breathtaking views of the lake. Waking up to the calm water and the beautiful surroundings was so peaceful and refreshing. The property itself is charming, well-maintained, and has a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. It’s a perfect place if you want to unwind and enjoy nature with a touch of comfort and elegance.
