    Nice and calm place in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by lots o birds, peacocks, monkeys. Rooms were spacious, staff friendly and caring. Food is not the strongest part of this place, but location to have a relaxing time is perfect.

    the Hotel stay was very good and I would for sure recommend this place. the hotel has a lot of room to improve though. Starting with the menu, the menu items are very limited. The rooms does not have a TV, telephone to contact the staff and have mosquitoes ( which is totally understandable since the hotel is surrounded by trees). However, its a must to mention the friendly staff! they were very helpful and friendly. truthfully, for the price I paid, I expected more. so, my personal opinion is that further improvements and upgrades can make this hotel better.

    Spent our last day of a 9 days tour around the country. Room was specious and clean with an open bathroom. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Will visit again

    My husband and I stayed here for two nights at the end of November for our honeymoon, and we had a wonderful time! The staff warmly welcomed us, surprising us with a lovely gift to celebrate our special occasion. Throughout our whole stay, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and help us enjoy our stay. They helped call a tuktuk, cared for our room well, and promptly assisted with all of our requests. We really enjoyed the property and its facilities, including the beautiful swimming pool. Unfortunately, it was raining during our stay so we didn't get to fully experience the magic of the area. But we still made the most of our stay! The property is truly immersed in nature. The surrounding views are beautiful and incredibly peaceful. However, it's important to note that this property is pretty isolated. There are no nearby restaurants or stores. As such, you will likely eat dinner on the property at least once. While the food was delicious, the prices were definitely marked up (the price is in USD). This was our only hesitation with the property. Nonetheless, it was an amazing experience and we would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Sigiriya. If you are looking for an escape, you'll really enjoy this property! Thank you Kumbukgaha Villa for helping to make our trip to Sri Lanka so special!
