I guarantee if you stay here you will checkout the next day and never return. There was trash bags in the room, the fan was noisy, there is someone living in one of the bunks who clearly has unmet health needs. There was me and another guy staying in the same room. We both left after one night. The staff are not friendly or helpful and the breakfast was really bad. No matter how cheap this place looks I guarantee you will regret it. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

Great location and very friendly staff that helped me book my transportation to the next city. While the dorms were fairly small, they were perfectly good for me and had an outlet and light right at the head of the bed. I was a bit bummed I couldn't use their kitchen but the free breakfast was so yummy and you are able to choose between four different things!

This is a budget hostel, so very cheap, especially considering that free breakfast is provided. The beds are simple but clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and do their best to make their guests comfortable. They also help with travel logistics and recommendations for local sites to visit. Suggestions for improvement: I was a bit disappointed that the Laos breakfast dishes on the menu were not available. The toast and eggs were good, but I was hoping for a local breakfast :). Also, charging extra for a towel seems a bit much. I know it's a budget hostel, but still I think towels should be provided.

Inspected bed upon arrival. Several bed bugs. Got offered another bed in another room that had a big hole in the ceiling with water damage so it was musty & mouldy, more bed bugs. No pillow nor mattress protectors. The host didn't understand the severity of bed bugs & their facilities, he just said tourists bring them, & didn't care at all. No basic hygiene. Pretty much all hostels in Asia are similar. Cheap shouldn't mean dirty & inhumane. Central location but this building should be demolished it's that bad. Stay away from a health hazard. They don't even know mould can cause severe respiratory problems & even death. No choice but to walk away as none of my concerns were taken seriously.
