    Stayed up late the night before and needed to nap somewhere in air conditioning. Was a good place to nap for few hours

    The Forestar is well placed in a vibrant part of Seoul. It is right next to a metro station and taxis are easily found. Restaurants to accomodate all tastes and budgetary requirements can be found within walking distance. Like all high rise Seoul hotels, Forestar has a conventional fire escape stairway and a Descending Lifeline system in each room to provide a means of escape through the window. Whilst it is hoped that the Lifeline is never needed, a multi lingual handout or video explaining how to use the lifeline, would reasure guests that their safety was foremost in management's mind.

    Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The room had visible mold and did not feel clean at all. While the design looked nice at first glance, it was very impractical and inconvenient to use. When we first entered the room, we noticed hair on the bed sheets, which made us question whether the bedding had been properly changed after the previous guest. The bathtub door also didn’t prevent water from leaking out, so the bathroom floor quickly turned into a puddle, making it uncomfortable to walk around. It also didn’t seem like the floor had been properly vacuumed, and overall the room felt quite dirty. On top of that, some of the power outlets were not working, which was quite inconvenient during our stay.

    Pros (+): Great location and beautiful outdoor landscaping. Cons (-): The room was dirty. Since we checked in late at 10:00 PM, we didn't have the chance to complain or change rooms..
