    The staff were friendly, and they may have done their best to accommodate me, but unless you are a older Korean gentleman or lady with a group of your colleagues or old pals on a group dinner/drinking session, this place is likely to be uncomfortable for you. I was also not in the mood for the “waaah weygookin!” of the restaurant staff either, so the hotel staff and restaurant staff cancel each other out. I don’t mind a good noisy, roudy samgyupsal drinking session, and I came back to Korea missing some of this. What I don’t like is when my room is directly above the restaurant, and I’m unable to sleep until it closes and they finish cleaning up because it sounds like they’re in my own room it’s so loud. There are no normal hotel expectations such as free drinking water, towels larger than hand towels, or an electrical outlet within 20 feet of the bed. It’s an old building getting away with doing things the way they were done before modern amenities and international expectations changed things for most “resorts” of this size. This is a place for large groups of older Koreans to get away together. For that purpose, it might be great. The bourbon and scotch selection at the micro convenience store was epic (Buffalo Trace, Russell’s Reserve, Balvenie, Macallan) considering the location. The location is on top of a hill so steep that even an experienced cyclist cannot get up it, and it’s a bit out of town.

    Overall value for money. Enough space (big size bathroom & sizeable living room ). But, the facilities need to improve. No place to eat a breakfast & lunch in the estate. The only one restaurant inside only offers the dinner.

    The property is relatively isolated, but it has recently undergone renovations and is now very clean and comfortable. However, the majority of guests are members of the local golf club, so the amenities are geared more towards them.
