Tokyu Stay Hakodate Asaichi Akari no Yu exceeded our expectations and turned out to be one of the most comfortable hotels we stayed at during our trip to Japan. Although it's considered a boutique hotel, the rooms are spacious by Japanese standards and are thoughtfully designed. The biggest highlight for us was the combined washer and dryer inside the room. It made doing laundry incredibly convenient and saved us from having to wait for shared laundry facilities. Another feature we loved was the small kitchenette, complete with a sink, microwave, and basic amenities. It was perfect for preparing simple meals or enjoying fresh seafood purchased from the nearby market. The room itself was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The bed provided an excellent night's sleep, and the overall layout made the room feel larger than expected. The hotel's public bath on the top floor is another standout feature. There are separate onsen for men and women, each offering both an indoor bath and a semi-open-air bath. The location is hard to beat. The hotel sits right next to the famous Hakodate Morning Market, where you can enjoy incredibly fresh seafood, local produce, and other Hokkaido specialties from early morning until around midday. For those driving, there's a small car park adjacent to the hotel, making rental car travel very convenient. The hotel is also only a short walk from JR Hakodate Station, making arrivals and departures by train quick and easy. The historic Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses can be reached in about 5–10 minutes along the pleasant waterfront. The Hakodate Bay area, local tram stops, and several museums are also nearby, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The combination of modern facilities, the in-room washer/dryer and kitchenette, the relaxing top-floor onsen, and the unbeatable location makes this hotel excellent value for money. Overall, Tokyu Stay Hakodate Asaichi Akari no Yu is an outstanding choice whether you're staying for a night or an extended visit. Its thoughtful amenities make it feel like a home away from home, while its central location puts Hakodate's best food, shopping, and attractions right at your doorstep. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hakodate.

Please change the bathroom curtains. They have molds and smell very bad. You need to replace them or else the guest are going to get sick
