GRAND BASE Hakata Naraya

Most appalled by the urine stained toilet seat we found upon check-in, which really grossed us out! I thought about uploading the photo here but decided to save other readers from the grossness. During our 3 night stay, one couldn't help but felt suspicious if other things were cleaned properly? As the carpet flooring are in dark grey colour, sofas are grey, much of the furnitures are darker in color, lightings in the whole apartment are generally very dim except in the shower & there's no natural light coming into the space (we're assigned ground floor room 101). The toilet is positioned in a weird place, away from the shower, near the entrance. I complained via Agoda property messaging about the soiled uncleaned toilet seat, there's no response whatsoever from Grand Base, they do not intend to recover from this service mishap. On the same token in regards to Agoda property messaging, this property doesn't reply messages via Agoda. As I didn't receive check-in passcode on time, they said they will send on the day itself, I messaged them asking for it to zero response. Only when I got to the property to press on the call machine did I get to speak to a representative who told me that they tried to email me the info but there was issue with my mailbox. Why did they not answer to my messages sent via Agoda messages then?!? Or try to reach me via Agoda messages?? Even though the check-in issue was resolved later, but it wasted so much of our time. What could've been a hassle-free process, had they just send the necessary info through Agoda message, like many other properties! We had used other unmanned hotels/ serviced apartments in Japan, never came across such inefficiency! The beds are hard, sofa sagged. You get the usual: microwave, fridge, washer, dryer (thumbs up). But no replenishing counter for little things that other unmanned places offer, like tea/ coffee bags, disposable toothbrush, tooth paste, garbage bags etc.
