Our stay at Sara was so lovely, we did not want to leave. It was most relaxing. The pool was spotless and always inviting to use, we really enjoyed the pool. Drinks and snacks/food around the pool were delightful. The whole resort and in particular our room, was very clean. Prathnaa at reception warmly welcomed us, let us check in our room early, which was very kind, as we arrived super early. Prathnaa throughout our stay was always helpful and friendly, he could not do enough for us, even carrying our suitcase across the water to our awaiting boat. Prathnaa made our stay special. As did Devid at the restaurant and pool area, Devid’s service was fantastic…thank you! Thank you to Shol, who helped amend our arrival dates and room, as we were held up in Siem Reap, greatly appreciated. We took advantage of “Green Season” rates, it was excellent value. Thank you so much Sara Team!

Everything was great. The rooms were clean, the showers were excellent, you get a hose outside your villa/room to wash your feet off. I did not have a single bad meal at the restaurant. The staff was very nice and accommodating. You didn’t have to pay for towels which was nice. They arrange for transportation to and from the pier. I had an electrical issue in my room where the lights wouldn’t turn on and I was immediately moved to another room. Besides it being pricey, I truly have zero complaints and would definitely return.

We had a 5 nights stay booked in a standard double room. Unfortunately we checked out the same day we checked in. Now I know this is a remote island and I’m blaming Agoda not the hotel itself but the rating is very in inaccurate for the stars given and the money charged. If it had of been cheaper I would have accepted it. But we paid decent money for what was an extremely disappointing room. We were given our room right at the back of the resort, a very dark tiny little room. You cannot leave your curtains open as everyone can see in. I firstly sat in the bed as was tired from travelling and could NOT believe how bad the bed was. It was rock hard ! The room had no basic facilities you would expect of a 4 star. It had no fridge which I’ve never experienced before, no TV which of course is not essential. Our door didn’t shut properly so the room was full of mosquitoes. The bathroom was in need of a kick of paint to at least make it look clean. I can not comment on much else as was not staying in this room. My partner went to reception and asked if there was a better room available and was literally told “ no room “ not interested at all. We took it upon ourselves to walk 200 metres and found a far superior infact beautiful hotel of the same rating for about $26 more in total. This is not right surely ? We walked back and checked out, nothing was said to us , no care was shown and didn’t want to do anything to help us. Shocking experience really and after 2 months of travelling around Asia every year I’m fortunate to say this has not happened before. But do your research well if you intend to stay here as it’s very low standard.
