    The place is so tranquil! What a lovely place to relax after exploring Siem Reap. The outside area is so lovely, the pool and jacuzzi are amazing and feels like so relaxing to be around the hotel grounds and the many areas to relax. The hotel staff cannot do enough for you, including welcoming you with a cold towel which is so appreciated in the heat here. The cold water dispenses are very helpful! The free afternoon tea daily is such a nice extra touch and the welcome drink on arrival with fruits. This hotel feels like you’re on a nice relaxing holiday and the staff want to do whatever they can to make you enjoy! The food was also lovely at the restaurant, especially the Curry Calzone!

    Best service, environment is exceptional, pool access very clean, staff are the most friendly. Great welcoming with snacks, towels and fruits. They even provide a free evening snacks and tea time. Would recommend to is place to anyone coming to visit Siem Reap!

    Nice pool, good restaurant, small gym with cardio machines and dumbbells. Best aspect is the staff… every single one of them. Super friendly and helpful.

    I stayed at The Urban for 3 nights. While the location and staff were excellent, there were several issues that affected my overall experience. The biggest inconvenience was the water policy. Having traveled to many countries, I have rarely seen hotels charge guests for bottled water. Most hotels provide at least two complimentary bottles daily. At The Urban, guests are expected to refill their bottles from a dispenser located at the reception area, which was not very convenient. Initially, I booked 2 nights at around $*** per night and later decided to extend my stay by one more night. When I noticed that *** was offering the same room for approximately $***, I showed the rate to the hotel and requested a price match or a mutually agreeable rate. Unfortunately, there was no flexibility, and I was charged the full walk-in extension rate of $***. This felt overpriced considering the lower online rate available. Another issue was cleanliness and pest control. Almost every time I entered my room, I encountered either a cockroach, lizard, or some other insect. Removing them became part of my daily routine, which was certainly not ideal. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is fantastic. It is within walking distance of Pub Street, local restaurants, markets, and other attractions, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The staff were also very friendly, helpful, and hospitable throughout my stay. Overall, The Urban offers a great location and excellent hospitality, but improvements in room hygiene, pest control, guest amenities, and pricing flexibility would significantly enhance the guest experience.
