    Hotel MONday is located in a quieter side of the city which was a good change after 3 nights in busy and crowded Dotonburi in Osaka. Hotel front desk staff is courteous and speak good English. Room is very clean. We love it that there is a shuttle bus that brought us to the Golden Pavillion and the Bamboo Grove. Another plus was the 2 or 3 kinds of sake available at the lobby for free taste. My 3 grandchildren were given treats (candy) on our check out day. That was a very nice touch to cap our stay.

    While the room matched the photos, the space was incredibly tight. There wasn't enough floor space to properly open our suitcases, which made the room feel quite claustrophobic.
