    If I didnt bring along the kids, I will love this place. Since I have the kids, the rooms might be a bit too tiny for me. Location wise is just ok.

    The room was spacious and bathroom bigger than most typical Japanese hotel. We took taxi from and to airport, which cost about 1000 to 12000 yen, the ride were about 15-20 mins. Location wise it’s in the middle of Tenjin Central Park (and department stores along the way) and Hakata JR station (which has a cluster of shops in department stores). Walking to either direction is about 25-30 mins. We didn’t have to take the subway. Many good ramen and local restaurants near by, and convenient stores, too.

    The room size is ok for our group of 4 adults. Like the quieter surrounding compared to Hakata and Tenjin. However, you need to be prepared to walk quite a bit from Gion station and there’s no shelter. It would be even further should you be taking the station lift up to ground level to walk to the hotel.

    The start of it was not great. Insisted I should pay for an extra person stay for kid 10yo. Check in was 3pm and our luggages was already brought to room by 2pm but the staff refused to let us into room unless we pay an extra early check in when we requested to go in around 2.40pm even with tired kids. It’s like it’s all about additional charges. The stay itself was ok, but location is not great since we do not see station nearby. Did organise some cute event like drinking nights, prep towels for guests during raining days.
