    RECEPTION AREA very artistic FRONT DESK STAFF scope for improvement by being bit friendly, smiling DINING AREA large area, staff was very hospitable BREAKFAST one of the best in Udaipur for veg, (I've visited 6 hotels). Food was tasty ROOMS size was large. Bed had 12" mattress, super comfortable, well decorated, linen and comforter very clean. They also had a seperate area to store our bags, thereby keeping the bedroom clutter free BATHROOM was super clean. Only drawback was that they have an inbuilt heater which would provide just lukewarm water. The bucket they provided for storing bath hot water looked like a mopping bucket, same scenario for next room too LOCATION it's about 4 km from City Palace, to enter the hotel you have to walk 2 mins using a small alley, but it's not a big issue considering all the Plus points. Easy to get Uber to go anywhere even late at night POOL they have a small pool CONCLUSION I would definately reccomend for long stay due to food, cleanliness...

    My stay at the hotel was good overall. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, the parking situation was inconvenient as there was no designated parking area—we had to park our car on the main road. Also, even though we had booked adjacent rooms, the hotel allotted rooms that were a little far from each other.

    Udaipur is known for its stunning views and tourist-friendly locations. Vasant Villa has no views at all and the worst location. Vasant Villa offers the best food but has the worst location. There are no views and no transportation options. It’s located among middle-class residential houses, as if a small house has been converted into a hotel. Access to the hotel is through a narrow road suitable only for pedestrians. If you have luggage, you will be dropped at the main road, and you'll have to carry your luggage through this unpleasant-smelling alley yourself. The staff is very friendly, and the food is cooked fresh to order. Room service is quick. During our four-day stay during peak season, we didn’t see many guests at the hotel. At times, my wife was worried about staying in such a lonely place. We experienced frequent power cuts every morning when trying to get ready for a shower. The staff tried to be as friendly as possible, but it didn’t alleviate our basic concerns. Getting transportation of any kind was a daily struggle. Uber, Ola, or auto rickshaws were unavailable. It was a real hassle that spoiled the overall experience of visiting Udaipur. We initially booked their best room on the roof, the "suite," but due to the loneliness and possible security concerns, we downgraded to a smaller room on a lower floor within two hours of checking in. We discussed a refund with the management, but as usual, once the money is paid, it’s gone. They provided reasons that didn’t make much sense. Payment was made directly to the hotel at check-in. Overall, the staff is friendly, the hotel is very clean—except for the rooftop suite we had booked. The food is exceptional, but the location is terrible. The management could have compensated by offering a more reasonable room rate, but it seems greed prevented that. I will not stay here again.
