The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Namba, close to Dotonbori and its famous nightlife, eateries, and bright neon lights. It is a convenient base for exploring Osaka and enjoying the surrounding attractions. Check-in takes place in a small reception area using a self-check-in system. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage at reception for storage, then collect it after the official check-in time, which was convenient. We were a group of four and booked connecting rooms with four single beds. Unfortunately, the rooms were very small, with limited space to open or lay out our luggage. Tea bags and goodies were available for guests to collect from reception. There is also a domestic airport shuttle bus stop right outside the hotel, while the bus terminal for Kansai International Airport is about a ten-minute walk away. The building is well constructed, and outside noise was kept to a minimum, allowing for a relatively peaceful stay. The breakfast voucher can be used at Sicilia Granduca Pizzeria Trattoria on the first floor, but we found the breakfast selection underwhelming. In our opinion, it is better to skip the hotel’s breakfast and explore the many dining options nearby. We requested room service once during our four-night stay, and our towels were refreshed on the other days. Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff accidentally took my son’s beloved plush toy, which he had slept with since he was a baby. Thankfully, the staff were able to track it down the following morning. While the toy was eventually recovered, having this happen at a hotel was disappointing and caused unnecessary distress. The hotel staff were understanding and helpful in resolving the issue. However, despite the excellent location, the small rooms, disappointing breakfast, and housekeeping mishap affected our overall experience. There are better alternatives elsewhere in Namba, particularly for travellers seeking more spacious rooms, consistently attentive service, and perhaps an enjoyable and varied breakfast.

Great location and very convenient! The Metro subway is just outside the hotel, with Nankai Namba Station directly opposite. It’s easy to travel around, and the surrounding area has plenty of local food, shopping, and attractions. Dotonbori is also within walking distance. Highly recommended!
