    It was not a terrible experience, but it did not meet expectations. It was like a low end hotel or high end hostel. The pre-registration for self-check-in was frustrating, and we only saw a staff member once during our whole stay. The location was not convenient, and in hindsight, I would have payed more to stay somewhere closer to the sights we wanted to see.

    3 minutes walking listen to Kyotogyoen beautiful garden full of Sakura & towering trees. Room is clean & nice. With legs massage & wash machine.

    The management is terrible: 0. We are told to upload the passport details to an online platform to ‘check-in’. I strongly doubt whether information security is guaranteed. 1. There is NO STAFF most of the time. A contact to the back office was provided but don’t expect any practical help. 2. A contact number for taxi booking is provided but what you will hear is a recorded message in Japanese only. 3. Only ONE washing machine and ONE drying machine for a 40-room property, and the drying machine doesn’t really dries stuff.
