    A nice spacious futon room, just quite incomprehensible why they put frosted glass in the windows to block the view on such beautiful surroundings. Breakfast is a set Japanese one. There is a onsen, but I'd recommend to go to the public one, which is much nicer with an open air section on the top floor. Otherwise very friendly with nice little attentions like free tea and liqueurs in the very pleasant common room.

    Overall a good stay, need to set up beds yourself, no bidet wash. But staffs are very friendly and helpful.

    We had an amazing time at the Kumoi Hotel. The hotel has been renovated, everything is clean and beautifully designed. We visited before the season started, so the atmosphere was calm and intimate, and we were even able to enjoy the onsen entirely on our own. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even for non-Japanese guests. Breakfast was very traditional Japanese style, if you’ve never tried oden, definitely give it a go. The location is nice; there isn’t much to do in the off-season, but we came here to relax, so it was perfect. The onsen is tattoo-friendly, which we really appreciated. We loved the tatami room, and the futons were extremely comfortable, we slept like babies. We highly recommend this place.
