Kokuya

Located in the Ikaho hot-spring area, Kokuya offers relaxing indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths with mountain views. Guests can enjoy massages and facial treatments for an extra cost. A free shuttle is available from Ikaho Ishidangai Stone Steps, which is also a 15-minute walk away. The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each includes a flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box and a fridge. All rooms come with mountain views and an en suite bathroom. Kokuya Ryokan is a 5-minute walk from Ikaho Shrine and a 10-minute drive from Mizusawa Temple. Ikaho Onsen Bus Terminal is a 2-minute walk away. Guests can use the private reservable hot-spring baths and purchase local gifts at the souvenir shop. A karaoke room and drink vending machines are on-site. Luggage storage is offered at the front desk and free parking is available. Traditional multi-course meals featuring local ingredients are served for dinner and a Japanese set-menu for breakfast.
