Convenient location, 15mins from the bus station to the alpine route. Was pleasantly surprised to know that there was a playroom for kids. Food options were a little limited at night, but room service was available and prices are pretty reasonable. Room was clean and huge, loved the green space all around the hotel. Had an enjoyable stay!

The hotel is ideal for those going to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route as it is just 1 bus stop away to Ogizawa Station where you get the ticket to the alpine route. The room is huge with a floor to ceiling scenic view of the pine trees & mountains and a peak of the Alps. My family loved the room so much. The lobby is likewise good for hanging out and the facilities (onsen, pool, gym, kids' play area, golf course) can fill your stay at the hotel. The only 2 things that we didn't like are the absence of restaurant options & convenience stores outside the hotel and the remoteness of the place. If you want to eat out or explore other interesting places in the area like Aoki Lake, etc, it is best to bring a car. Otherwise, you will need to book a cab. Even the public bus and hotel shuttle bus trip schedule between the hotel and the Shinano-Omachi Station is very limiting because the last bus to the hotel is only until 17:10 so you can't really plan to eat dinner near the station, where there are more options.

This hotel is quite new from what I see and design for needed people, such as elder person. It is a big hotel which the phrase 2 I stay should be the newly built. Unfortunately, it is also the disadvantage at the same token that the onsen and swimming pool are located at the far end of the phrase one. It takes us to go there from phrase two at least 5 mins I guess. The environment of the hotel is nice. The last thing I dislike this hotel is the cupboard under the sink. It can be bad if someone kick on it. I don‘t understand why it made the cupboard this way.
