Honestly, the best hotel I’ve booked in Japan so far. Nice that it’s near the bus station going to Kansai Airport and other osaka areas, very convenient. Walking distance to just about everything, parks, shops, and of course the Awa Odori Hall and the Awagin Bizan Ropeway where you can ride a cable car and enjoy a panoramic view of Tokushima Japan. I highly recommend JR Clement Hotel. Ah! The JR Tokushima Train Station is just a few steps away from the hotel.

    場所が最高です。おそらく建物自体は古いですが、水回りがリノベされていて綺麗でした。エレベーターの前にウォーターサーバーがありよかったです。

The hotel is very close to the Tokushima Station, and is useful for travelers taking the trains. However, for my trip, I had a rental car. Parking is super convenient, as there is a connected multi-storey carpark next to the hotel. You park and pay at the front desk when you check in, so its convenient. Room was clean and of a decent size for the price. Bathroom was ok to, nice and modern. Going out for mid=might snacks or dessert was no problem as there are plenty of 7-11 and FamilyMart nearby within 5 mins walking or less. THe only set back, was that its not the lively area after about 7pm. Seems very quiet around 7.30pm and many shops close around this time. Only a handful of restaurants are available at the connected Clement Plaza, but enough for a good choice. We had sushi and it was very nice. We didn't have breakfast included, however there are nearby places for breakfast, like a burger joint in the plaza, and where we went. Tully's Coffee, which had wonderful hot sandwiches and coffee. Overall, recommended and worth the price. The overnight parking was about $1000 I recall. Not too expensive. Recommended!
