    Open-air onsen experience is one of highlights of hakone trip. The location is about 10-15 mins bus ride to yumoto station, there is a bus stop nearby which is 5 mins away from the hotel. If you plan to walk from hotel to yumoto station or vice versa, please prepare your self for steep and rocky roads.

    The hotel was great, overall. The staff was nice and helpful. The onsen facility is big, clean, organized, and essencials are stocked. Everything is the same and consistant since my last two visit spanning over one year. The only thing I would recommend is for the hotel to beautify or touch up on the hotel itself. It is showing its age. I can see it being one of the top choices for visitors after fixing it up and creating some new advertisements.

    location is very inaccessible especially at night without a car. Onsen and environment is good. Staff helpful and friendly, english is okay. the room is spacious but the floor,mattress and chair cushion is dirty and smelly. The entire experience was above average
