Shivjot Farms And Resort

We stayed at Shivjot Resort from 29 August to 30 August 2026 in a Family Suite (Room 211). Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing resort experiences we have had. The biggest and most shocking issue was that we were waiting to go outside because the staff had lost the key for our room/outdoor access. We had to wait while the staff tried to sort out the issue. This is completely unacceptable for a resort. We immediately reported that Wi-Fi and the TV/LED were not working. We were told by the staff that the issue would be resolved within 15 minutes. However, despite repeated calls and WhatsApp messages, it was still not working until we checked out. We even have the WhatsApp conversation as proof. The resort representative kept asking us to wait and said they would check with reception, but the problem was never properly resolved. Housekeeping was also extremely poor. The room was mopped only after we made repeated calls. Basic services should not require guests to call reception 4–5 times. Reception Service – Extremely Poor Almost every service required 3–5 calls/follow-ups before anything was actually done. We had to continuously chase the reception instead of enjoying our family stay. Indoor Games Area – Very Poorly Maintained The indoor games area was another disappointment: Only fans — no AC or cooler Pool table had only one usable stick Table tennis had no ball Overall, the games area was not properly maintained or usable For a family resort, this is not what guests expect. 🍽️ Restaurant Food – Excellent The restaurant food was genuinely excellent, and this was the biggest positive of our stay. The restaurant team deserves appreciation for the food quality. However, good food cannot compensate for poor reception service, maintenance problems, housekeeping delays and lack of staff coordination. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that we reported these problems during our stay and gave the resort several opportunities to resolve them, but most issues remained unresolved until checkout. We came for a family vacation expecting a comfortable and relaxing stay. Instead, we spent our time calling reception, sending WhatsApp messages, waiting and repeatedly following up for basic services. Management needs to seriously improve staff coordination, reception response, housekeeping and maintenance. Internet was not good. No house keeping done for during 3days stay. Rs. 1000 was again charged for breakfast inspite of payment made with breakfast at the time of booking.

1. Food was good. 2. Ample Outdoor Activities. 3. Clean Pool Water. 4. Peaceful. Good to go for outside visit!

Location is good but services are bad. Rooms were not cleaned. Bugs and insects on your bed. Washrooms were not cleaned when I complain they said some glass work was going on that is why it's not cleaned. Food is average. So it's better to look other option if you find.
