    A very good hotel to stay. Have underground covered carpark as well as an uncovered one on land opposite the entrance of hotel. WiFi is fast inside the room. A McDonald’s is nearby so you still have breakfast if your plan does not include breakfast. It is near 雲場池 with a 5-7 minute of walking. However, there is only one small elevator and I did not seem to find the stairs.

    The only good thing about this hotel is that the room is very spacious. Unfortunately, the facilities are quite outdated, and there was a noticeable musty smell when I first entered the room. The furniture looks extremely old, and the bedding is very basic and not particularly comfortable. The room includes a small kitchenette, but surprisingly, absolutely nothing is provided—no pots, pans, plates, bowls, chopsticks, spoons, or any basic utensils. This makes the kitchenette almost useless. To make matters worse, I found a large bug in the room one night. I’m not sure whether it was a bed bug or another type of insect, but it was unpleasant and certainly affected my stay. Considering the price, the overall facilities, cleanliness, and comfort are very disappointing. The hotel offers poor value for money and is clearly in need of renovation and better maintenance. I would not choose to stay here again. This version is careful not to state that it was a bed bug unless you know that for certain. If you actually have a photo of the insect, I can also help identify whether it looks like a bed bug or something else.

    There was even a slope leading to the room from the door. Bed was very big, room was really huge, plenty of space which we were thankful for. However, bathroom had a musty smell that we cannot get rid of, it did not feel very clean and well maintained.

    Karuizawa was a stop before Tokyo. We booked the room at very last minute. The room was super spacious, yet the facilities were a bit out dated. The service of the staff was exquisite.
