    The hotel lobby is very unique where it has a wedding service area which is very pretty. The staff are very friendly and parking is FOC for hotel guest. There is water cooler near the lift landing area. While it is not a new hotel, it still maintains good cleanliness.

    The hotel is a bit old but offers value for good location. Staff are friendly and helpful. The staff who serves us can speaks English. Overall, a good comfortable stay without expecting top-tier luxury. For self driving, parking is free.

    We made complaints to the receptionist desk with the attached screenshots. They were dismissive about the issue and we were informed that there were no safety issues with having a cracked toilet bowl as it has already been repaired. We were also told it was completely safe and there will not be leaks. We requested a room change because of the aforementioned safety concern but we were denied one because they were fully booked. Guests’ safety is clearly not a priority on the management team of this hotel as seen from their lackluster response. If this is allowed to persist, who knows what other issues (perhaps hygienic or safety related) are dismissed because they do not deem it worthy of their time. This is indicative of their inability to take customers’ safety into consideration when making conscious decisions (the observed band-aid solution) to not replace the cracked toilet bowl. We were not informed to make a review like other hotels we have been at during our time in Japan and had to write this one out of our own conscience to notify potential customers to avoid staying here unless their attitude towards customer care changes.

    Hotel seems to be going for a five star but needs some updates to get there or even match the prices they charge. Location is very scenic but not that central, lacks a proper bar and has no gym. The rooms are small and old and wear and tear is visible all over the hotel. At the price bracket they need bigger rooms with more updated facilities. It feels very much like they are more concerned with the wedding side of the business than the hotel. Room has limited luxuries and amenities are sparse, only a few hangers in the closet. I had family staying here and the Apa hotel and this hotel was many times over more expensive but included amenities were barely better. If family came again I would book them all into the APA.
