    I want to start by saying that the staff here are absolutely incredible - very professional, helpful, curteous and kind. The breakfast ladies were especially wonderful I have onyl good things to say about the personnel here. I was going to stay at a newer hostel by the train station but I'm glad I chose to stay here even though it is a little further away. My only two feedback points is 1) I wish the women and mens baths were rotating, the womens seems to only be in the basement and the photos of the larger bath was what made me want to book. That said, I understand RouteInn service business travel which is predominenantly men. I also really liked that even though the womens onsen was smaller/less appealing, the water was great and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided felt premium. 2) I regret booking via Agoda as the customer service was not helpful. Agoda uses a third party, Rakuten to create bookings - it was very convoluted to amend a booking error so instead of spending a restful evening at the hotel I spent 4-5 hrs on the phone trying to resolve a booking error that continued into the morning. Again teh staff here were great, however the experience with Agoda was incredibly frustrating and tedious , although the staff at Agoda tried to help the fact that it is tied to a third party (Rakuten) made the process very stressful.

    booked here because i did not catch the last train. good hotel, clean and nice room. they offer free onsen and buffet breakfast. love my whole stay. the food was good also. highly recommend

    The hotel is clean and kid-friendly. There are even children picture books which are rarely seen at other hotels.

    Good staff. But no elevator and really small space. We stayed with two people and couldn’t even open our luggage on the floor.
