Furano Tsuru Apartments

Do standby to call the host if he isn’t around, as he manages two separate apartments. Once we met, he was very friendly and took the time to explain the facilities and how to use the equipment. The house is very clean and even has a dishwasher — quite rare in Japanese homes! We really liked the bedroom and dining area, which were both comfortable and inviting. A peaceful and relaxing stay overall.

Good, clean accommodation come with full facility (washer,dryer,and kitchen) Price is reasonable. Location is good if you self driving.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was exceptional. The property had everything you need and the host was great.

Terrible experience with the owner. We took 2 x 2 bedroom apartment and 1 x 4 bedroom apartment. No 1: check in timing Owner message in Agoda app a few days before to ask what time my group will be checking in. I reply him 2 days before my arrival day mentioning 3-4pm. There wasn’t any response till the day I was supposed to check in. Check in timing was suppose at 4pm which I overlooked. Since most places check in time was 3pm. My group arrived at 4pm and was looking around for sign on how to check in. Then I realised he message me on Agoda app in the morning 7am saying to check in after 5pm. Luckily we have rented car. No 2. Hot water issues The group in the 2 bedroom apartment have hot water issues from the first night. The 3rd person shower halfway and it’s cold water. The first 2 person showered within 10mins each. Without running any bath. It’s winter and the water is prickly cold. I message the owner on the Agoda app about the cold water and no reply from him. We went to the 4 bedroom which is around 7mins walk away to shower as there is still isn’t any hot water after waiting for 1 hr. It is already mid Dec and the temperature is -7–9 at night. Thankfully we have a car and we have another group staying in the 4 bedroom apartment. No 3 . Trash separation. Owner will only empty trash the 3rd day. The trash bins are small. It’s hard for big group to stay. Noting the trash bin only being empty on the 3rd day. Owner charged us a fine 1000 yen for not sorting 1 trash bag properly . The group had already filled the bins including compost bin to the brim. No choice but to put all the trash in a bag first as all the bins are full. We left the bag in the kitchen sink. Thinking to sort after the bins are emptied. We explain and the owner refunded the charges the next day. No 4: charged unknowingly After 4 nights and checking out. There was a charge of 1000yen. I message the owner and he say he did not charged anything. My statement reflected clearly and I insisted I was being charged then he replied to say he will check. Thereafter refund was made. The owner is proficient in English and can explain the rules and regulations well verbally. He is only interested in maintaining and upkeep of his rules. You will be at his mercy once he has your credit card details. I showered in fear of not having hot waters and also fear of having my credit card being charged. I have blocked the card and ask for new card to be issued.
