What truly made the experience exceptional were the people. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful, and that makes all the difference. A special mention must go to Stephane, the guest manager, who is simply outstanding. His attention to detail, professionalism, and sincere care for guests elevate the entire stay. He has a remarkable ability to make you feel valued and at ease, always going above and beyond with a calm, positive presence. Whether it’s ensuring everything runs smoothly or taking the time for a friendly conversation, Stephane sets the tone for the whole team. Having stayed in both resorts on the island I found Haimurubushi better - more options and flexibility for restaurants, more activities offered, and it was fun to ride a golf cart around! I’ll come back with family next time!

Me and my wife had a really relaxing three nights here after our two week Japan tour. The staff were very attentive to our every need. They upgraded us to a sea view room when I asked for a room with a king/queen sized bed which they didn't have for the room type we booked for. The sea view room was big and had a great view of the sea and sunsets every evening to watch from our private veranda. For activities we did snorkeling and kayaking in the mangroves. We snorkelled right next to turtles with almost no other tourists around, was very quiet compared to other resorts around the world. The kayaking was also fun. The only issue is very English is known during the activities so the long explanations of wildlife from the tour guide were lost on us. The hotel breakfast and dinner buffet was delicious, as much tuna sashimi as you can eat to dinner and a few western breakfast things like croissants and scrambled eggs amongst the large choices of Japanese dishes. This hotel is popular with Japanese families and although there are lots of kids they are way more quiet and well behaved than western kids. Not alot to do at night, only a lone Japanese singer on a guitar singing singing what sounds like Japanese nursery rhymes. The beach is a 15 min walk but the beach cafe and sunbeds and water sports are great to spend the day at lying around and wallowing in the tropical waters. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

This was by far the best resort I've ever stayed at. The attention to detail exceeded my expectations. The staff were all very helpful and very pleasant. The spa was very relaxing, the best beach area ever! I will definitely be back!!!
