    I wish I planned my trip to stay in this hotel for longer! LOCATION: Very nice location, it's surrounded by a lot of shopping streets, restaurants, and bars / clubs. Very exciting atmosphere! ROOM: The room was great, did not feel cramped at all. AMENITIES: The room came with toiletries, hair dryer, mini fridge, kettle. There were also extra amenities on the first floor that you were free to grab if you needed. For each floor, there were pillows you could take if you wanted to find a more comfortable one. There is coin laundry and microwave on one of the floors. I didn't use these during my stay however. At 8pm every night, while supplies last, the hotel offers free curry to the guests! The curry was very yummy but make sure to get there before the food runs out. STAFF: Staff were nice! I did not talk to them that much beyond checking in and checking out though.

    I could have really enjoyed this place. But unfortunately they were unprofessional and I couldn't get the best of it - that has potential to be much better. They have a natural scope that is great! At the reception dried natural herbs are available to make sachets for the bath (it needs at least two very full ones to start to give some aroma to the tub). And also shampoos and conditioners that made my hair super soft. Good selection of teas. I was super happy with the amenities and this was the reason I had booked, I wanted two days of rest since I've been traveling for a while - and to rearrange my bag in between delicious aromatic baths would be great. But then, even though I requested a silent room with an open view they put me in a room facing directly another hotel, full of windows. I complained and they changed me to the 13th floor in an unobstructed view - but with a horrible noise, really loud, every 5 minutes, like a roaring machine. I just realized this sound after I had already taken everything out of my bag (I think it starts around 8, or gets worse...) so I didn't wanted to have to move again. But this was a major issue. Impossible to be in the room without ear plugs, it is really loud. And to sleep, luckily I have good quality earplugs ( they have some basic ones at the reception - don't know if it would be enough for that type of sound that reverberates on the wall). Also, the bathroom smelled bad... Like old sweat and sewage.. even if I used herbs and shampoos with different aromas it was still smelling bad... So it was not possible to be resting at the bathtub as I expected... The first room seemed to have a much cleaner bathroom... I will come back to Kagoshima soon for 3 more days and I already booked another hotel. I do not recommend here because you can end up in a horrible room like mine.
