It’s our 3rd time stay, we love the location, cleanliness, comfort, and staff are really friendly.
One real disappointment, is still no handrail for the stairs. This is an open staircase, and in my opinion is an accident waiting to happen. As l have said in a previous review l don’t understand how this is not a safety issue.

Location was beautiful. Facilities in the room were great, allowing us to do our breakfasts on our own.
Some chairs on the deck and roof top patio needed repairs.

The view and breakfast was excellent
The heating system was noisy.
The room was quite small as nowhere to sit other than on the bed.

Manager was very concerned about our well being. We had the unfortunate timing of being there during storm Kristen when the Guadiana River level was rising and threatened to flood the access road to this property. The manager put our safety first and had to ask us to leave and find alternate accommodations for our stay in
Mertola. We applaud her for her timely notice and her communications with booking.com to facilitate our refund.
