    * Poor room maintenance (broken sink, curtain rods, cracked toilet seat) * Refusal to provide a room change despite room issues * Rude and unprofessional behavior from check-in staff * Slow and inefficient food service * Incomplete food orders * Mediocre and inconsistent food quality * Overpriced food for the quality offered * Billing errors at checkout (charged for items not consumed) — This was my second visit to Manali, and I chose Alt Life based on the pleasant experience I had during my first stay here in 2022. This time with family.. Unfortunately, this time the service quality and room quality had degraded drastically. We booked two rooms, and one of them had a broken bathroom sink, broken curtain rods, and a cracked toilet seat. At the time of check-in, we were refused a room change on the grounds that no other rooms were available. That should not have been the reason for us to compromise on our experience. Also, the bearded guy at check-in, who seemed to be the person in charge, came across as extremely arrogant and rude. His attitude towards guests was disappointing and completely unprofessional. The food and service were equally poor. Orders took far too long, arrived incomplete, and the taste was mediocre at best- sometimes excessively salty. Even the tea was disappointing. When you’re paying these prices, you expect at least decent food and basic service standards. At checkout, we were asked to clear our food bills. Thankfully, we decided to review them carefully and reconcile them against what we had actually ordered. To our surprise, a meal we never had was included in the bill, adding almost ₹1,000 extra. We had it removed, but the whole situation left a very bad impression. It genuinely felt like an attempt to overcharge us.. - we could sense. Overall, I did not enjoy this stay at all. Sadly, I won’t be returning to Alt Life Manali.
