    Location is good Staffs are nice and available thru phone. But ground floor reception under renovation. Rooms are old, few broken walls. Not many amenities. Not value for money.

    If you are planning to stay at Hotel Pondicherry because of its "amenities," do yourself a favor and keep scrolling. Calling this a "hotel" is an insult to the word. It is a basic lodge masquerading as a premium stay. The Reality Check: The Parking Trap: They claim to have parking, but it’s a total disaster. Once you park, your car is trapped. I couldn’t take my car out in the evening because it was packed so tightly that moving even an inch was impossible. It’s a logistical nightmare. Zero Amenities: There is no restaurant. They point you to a nearby eatery with restricted hours. There is no intercom in the room, so if you need anything, you’re on your own. They didn't even have plates for my Swiggy/Zomato order! Language Barrier: The only staff member present spoke and understood only Tamil. If you don’t speak the local language, your complaints will literally fall on deaf ears. Hygiene & Maintenance: The rooms and bathrooms were poorly cleaned. To top it off, the TV was useless as the cable wasn't even recharged. I paid ₹5,227 for a "pathetic" experience. I strongly suspect the positive reviews here are either paid for or written by relatives. Avoid this place at all costs! In the last, Breakfast was included in booking which was also not provided.

    The location is quite convenient & walkable. However the overall experience was disappointing, there was no proper staff to help us at check in, no car parking facility, no security guard, not worth the price
