    Good options like conoeing, kayaking, and shikhara boating at extra charge. Food options and quality was ok but there isn scope for improvement. Pictures shown in the site for the rooms are not what you get.

    Located at the junction of the river and lake, it offers a beautiful scenic view.. Food was good and staff was polite.. Indoor games facility was average and not well maintained (it doesn't matter though since you spend time in canoe ride and kayaking) Overall, Good experience!

    ​I am beyond disappointed and frustrated with my recent stay at Lake and River Resort, Munroe Island. I specifically booked a Suite because I wanted my mother to have a comfortable, high-end experience. Instead, it was a nightmare. The room and the bed were crawling with ants. We were literally expected to sleep in a bed full of insects after paying a premium price for a "luxury" suite. ​Non-existent Night Staff: When we discovered the issue at night, there wasn't a single staff member available to help or move us to a clean room. The only person on-site was a security guard who couldn't do anything. ​Abysmal Management: When I confronted the front office and the manager the next day, their response was insulting. They claimed they "couldn't do anything" because I booked online. Since when does booking online waive a hotel's responsibility to provide a clean, pest-free room? The only "solution" they offered was an extension of my stay, which was useless as I had further travel plans. Despite the ruined night, the health hazard, and the stress caused to my mother, they offered zero compensation, no refund, and no effort to make things right. All I got was a half-hearted "sorry" and a shrug of the shoulders. It is clear this resort cares more about taking your money than providing basic hospitality or hygiene. ​Avoid this place if you value your money and your health. I think management do not care about their guests once the payment is made.
