    A clean, well-maintained property with helpful staff and good facilities. The bathroom was comfortable, hot water was reliable, and breakfast was enjoyable. The views were a definite highlight, and the overall experience felt like good value for money. The location is fantastic as well! .

    Great Trails is exceptional as far as activities such as zip line, horse riding etc and has an adventurous parh to access that will cheerfully surprise anyone with great ambience and natural panoramic view

    The stay was a complete bliss. Except one thing. Kid play area was not completely built when we stayed.

    Great Trails Kodaikanal has a nice location and good road access, but for the money they charge, it simply isn't worth it. Where it falls short: Confusing Layout & Mobility Issues: Built on a hillside, you have to take two separate lifts just to reach higher rooms. It’s an inconvenient setup if you have trouble walking or carrying luggage. Basic Maintenance Neglected: Stayed in a Timber Chalet. The wooden floor noisy and creaks with every step. As someone with wooden flooring at home, I know this is a maintenance issue that can be fixed. Missing Basic 4-Star Amenities: No hot water for the health faucet/toilet (only in the shower and sink), which is disappointing for this price range. No gym either. Understaffed Spa & Small Play Area: The spa is severely understaffed (only two people) and offers very few options compared to other GRT properties. The play area and bar are quite small. Average Food: The food was strictly average and definitely needs improvement. Ongoing Construction: Active work on-site adds unnecessary hindrance to what should be a peaceful stay. Bottom Line: The check-in was smooth, parking is good, the rooms are clean, and the bed is comfortable—but that's the absolute bare minimum. Given the price, there are far better 4-star and 5-star options in Kodaikanal that give you much better value for your money.
