    I booked a Deluxe Room with City View at Hotel Atulyaa Taj for a couple's stay, but the experience turned out to be absolutely pathetic. This hotel completely ruined our trip. We checked in late at night, and instead of the Deluxe room we paid for, they assigned us a room in the basement. The room was in terrible condition with heavy dampness (seelan) on the walls and a horrible, foul smell. The cleanliness was nowhere near what we expected or what this hotel claims to provide; even the bathroom curtain was extremely dirty and disgusting. When my girlfriend called the reception to request a room change, the staff was highly uncooperative and dismissive. They bluntly refused, stating they had no other rooms available and couldn't shift us. If they charge for a Deluxe City View room, giving a filthy basement room is literal cheating. To make matters worse, the room service food was an absolute disaster. We ordered dinner, and the bill came out to be ₹1300, but the quality was worse than a cheap roadside dhaba. The yellow dal was undercooked, and the mix veg was completely tasteless and poorly prepared. Every single rupee of that ₹1300 bill was a total waste. Total Experience: Pathetic room, terrible cleanliness, uncooperative service, and awful food. I highly recommend couples avoid this place to save their money and peace of mind.
