Definitely Not a 4-Star Hotel Our stay at Central Heritage Hotel and Spa in Darjeeling was disappointing. The hotel is poorly designed, with uneven stairs required even after taking the elevator. This is very inconvenient and would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The rooms are small and only semi-clean. The bedsheets and towels were yellowish, raising concerns about cleanliness. The bathroom has no shower divider, leaving the entire floor wet. Toilet paper was limited, with only half a roll provided for one night. The front-desk and payment arrangements were confusing. My friend had prepaid through the booking platform, but the hotel claimed there was no reservation and required her to pay again. The hotel also had problems with its Visa scanner and had no change available for cash payments. On the positive side, the view was nice, the breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful. Overall, I would rate this hotel no more than 2 stars, rather than the 4 stars advertised on travel websites. I would not recommend it.
